About PaisaKhoj

PaisaKhoj exists to help people in India make money decisions with numbers rather than adjectives.

What we do

We record what Indian banks, housing finance companies and NBFCs publish about their products, show when each figure was last checked, and link to the provider’s own source so you can verify it yourself.

We also build calculators, because most money decisions come down to arithmetic that a product page will not do for you. What a flat rate really costs against a reducing-balance one. Whether a card’s rewards cover its fee once the caps and the GST are counted. Whether a home loan still works if the rate moves two points against you.

What we are not

PaisaKhoj is not a bank, a lender, an NBFC, a credit bureau, a regulator, an insurer, a financial adviser or a tax adviser. We are not authorised by, affiliated with or acting for the Reserve Bank of India. Nothing here is personal financial advice.

No tool on this site estimates whether you will be approved for anything. Lenders in India underwrite on your credit bureau report, your existing obligations and their own internal scoring, none of which we can see — and a site that pretends otherwise is guessing.

We do not take applications. Every apply link goes to the provider’s own site, and it is marked so you can see you are leaving.

Where our data comes from

Product figures come from a provider’s own published source — its product page, its schedule of charges, the Most Important Terms and Conditions, or its published interest-rate card. Every product carries the URL it was read from and the date a person last checked it.

Where we have not recorded something, the product says “Not available”. It never shows a zero we did not verify. A comparison site that turns missing data into zeros will tell you a card is free when in fact nobody has looked.

This is an India site

Everything here is about products available in India, priced in rupees, under Indian regulation. We do not cover other markets, and we do not carry products from them.

How we check what you see

A source for every figure.

Each product links to the provider page or schedule of charges its numbers came from.

A date on every check.

You can see when a human last read that source — and when nobody has.

Missing is not zero.

A field we have not verified reads “Not available”, never ₹0.

Disclosure next to the decision.

A commercial relationship is stated on the product it applies to, not in a separate policy page you have to go looking for.
