Editorial policy

What we will and will not say about a financial product, and what happens when we get something wrong.

Language we do not use

We do not write “guaranteed approval”, “instant approval” unless a provider states exactly that, “risk-free”, “highest returns”, or “save big”. We do not manufacture urgency for offers that are not genuinely time-limited.

We do not describe a product as “free” where conditions or fees apply, we do not call a rate “lowest” without saying what it was compared against, and we never describe approval as guaranteed, assured or pre-approved.

Migrated content

Articles carried over from the previous PaisaKhoj site are preserved as written. We do not rewrite migrated financial copy for style — a change to wording about a financial product needs someone with access to the source, not an editor tidying prose.

The previous site published under a shared account rather than named authors. Migrated articles therefore carry no author or reviewer, and say so on the page rather than attributing them to a person who did not write them.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong, tell us and we will check it against the provider’s source. Where it is wrong, we correct it and update the verification date.

We do not silently amend financial figures. A correction changes the record, its date, and the note attached to it.

Independence

No provider sees this site before it publishes, and no provider can request that a product be removed, reordered or described differently.
