Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure

PaisaKhoj is free to use. We may earn a commission or fee from some providers, or from affiliate networks acting for them, when you click a link on the Site and later apply for or take a product. That is how the Site is funded. This page is our statement under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023, the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements, 2022 and the ASCI Code on advertising.

Wherever a link, button, product listing or comparison is commercial, we state it next to that link or listing, with a label such as “Affiliate link” or “Sponsored”, and not only on this page or in the footer. A link without that label is a plain link to the provider’s own site.

• It does not change the price, interest rate or fees you pay. You pay the provider the same whether or not you come through our link.
• It does not change how a product is recorded, scored, ranked or described. Figures come from the provider’s own published sources and are produced the same way for every product.
• It does not allow a provider to review, approve, reorder or remove our coverage. No provider sees a page before it is published.
• It does not mean we recommend the product for you. Products with no commercial relationship are covered in the same way.

• We do not hide charges or describe a product as free where conditions or fees apply.
• We do not use “guaranteed approval”, “instant approval” (unless a provider states exactly that), “risk-free” or similar claims, and we do not create false urgency or countdowns, pre-tick boxes, drip-price or use other dark patterns.
• We do not collect your details to pass to providers as leads. When you click out, you apply on the provider’s own site and give your data to them directly.
• We do not publish paid or fake reviews, or reviews in invented people’s voices.
• We do not take payment from providers in exchange for better placement without labelling it.

When you click an affiliate link, the provider or affiliate network may place a cookie or use a referral identifier so that the referral can be credited to us. That is how we are paid. It carries no personal information from us. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If we publish any advertisement, sponsored article or partner content, it will be clearly labelled as such, will be kept distinct from our editorial content, and will meet the ASCI Code and applicable law. We are responsible for what we publish; providers are responsible for the accuracy of their own offers.

If you think a commercial relationship was not disclosed, or a product is described misleadingly, tell our Grievance Officer using the details on the Grievance Redressal page. We will check it against the source and correct it where needed.
