Grievance Redressal

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the details of our Grievance Officer are:

  • Designation: Grievance Officer, PaisaKhoj
  • Email: info@paisakhoj.com (subject line: “Grievance”)
  • Working days: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in India

We do not run a call centre or telephone helpline. Complaints are handled in writing so that there is a record.

What you can complain about

  • content on the Site that you believe is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, defamatory or unlawful;
  • an undisclosed commercial relationship or a misleading description of a product;
  • a card image, logo or trademark you own and want corrected or removed;
  • how we handle your personal data, or a request to access, correct or erase it or to withdraw consent;
  • any other concern about the Site or these policies.

Complaints about a provider’s product, service, charges or an application decision should go to that provider first. If not resolved, the Reserve Bank of India’s Integrated Ombudsman Scheme and the Consumer Commission are available. We do not sell or service these products and cannot resolve those complaints for you.

How to send a complaint

Please include your name, your email address, the page address (URL) concerned, a clear description of the problem, and what you want us to do. For a rights-holder complaint, include proof that you own the right. Do not include financial credentials, card numbers, OTPs or identity numbers.

Our timelines

  • Acknowledgement: within 24 hours of receipt of your complaint on a working day.
  • Resolution: within 15 days of receipt. Where a complaint is about content that needs to be removed under the Intermediary Rules, we act within the time those rules prescribe.
  • Data protection requests: handled within the time the DPDP law prescribes.

If we need more information we will ask, and the period runs from when we have it. We will tell you the outcome and our reasons in writing.

Escalation

If you are not satisfied, you may write again asking for a review. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India for personal data matters, the National Consumer Helpline or the relevant Consumer Commission for consumer matters, and the courts. For content grievances under the Intermediary Rules you may also use the Grievance Appellate Committee mechanism where it applies.
